History of Kenya safari.
Kenya safari originated back during the 14th century when the Arabs had started coming into East Africa, though their main interest was trade they could not mind about wildlife. As time kept on elapsing Kenya Wildlife Safaris developed a new idea when the guests from Europe used to leave their country to escape the winters and could come to Africa to experience the African jungle and encounter it.

Arrival of your international flight at JKIA where you will meet our representative and be transferred to SAROVA PANAFRIC HOTEL.
Check-in and overnight on Bed and Breakfast basis at the hotel
After breakfast, proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check-in at the lodge and lunch thereafter.
Depart for your afternoon game drive in this world famous reserve.
Dinner and overnight at MARA SOPA LODGE.
Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is known as Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserve, situated in southwest Kenya. Famous for the abundance of lion, the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, it is without a doubt one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations.
Maasai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. The terrain of the reserve is primarily grassland and riverine forest with clumps of the distinctive acacia trees. It’s about 270 km from the capital city Nairobi and takes about 5-6 hours by road or 40-45 minutes by flight.
The Maasai Mara Ecosystem holds one of the highest lion densities in world and this is where over TWO MILLION Wildebeest, Zebra and Thomsons Gazelle migrate annually. Its hosts over 95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of birds.
After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch.

Dinner and overnight at LAKE NAKURU LODGE
Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts the vast quantity of flamingos that famously line the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and white rhinos have also been introduced. Also of interest, is an area around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes, black rhinos and white rhinos. Waterbuck are very common and both the Kenyan species are found here. Among the predators are lion, cheetah and leopard, the latter being seen much more frequently in recent times. The park also has large sized pythons that inhabit the dense woodlands, and can often be seen crossing the roads or dangling from trees.
Early breakfast and then depart to the Aberdares Region. Arrive for lunch at the base hotel of the forest range. In the afternoon, transfer to the “tree-hotel” located in the heart of the Aberdares Forest Range. Arrive and check-in. Game viewing is from the terrace overlooking a flood-lit waterhole.
Dinner and overnight at the ARK LODGE.

Breakfast at the lodge. Return to the base hotel and rejoin your safari guide and proceed to Mount Kenya. Arrive and check-in at the MOUNT KENYA SAFARI CLUB. Rest of the day at leisure.
The club offers a wide range of optional activities to choose from such as horse-riding, golf, etc.

With magnificent views of Mount Kenya, the Mount Kenya Safari Club is set in 100 acres of landscaped gardens, and offers a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. There are 116 rooms which range from villas to cottages, and some rooms also have a mini-bar, sitting room and private veranda. The Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and 9-course dinner. The Mountain View Bar and Lounge is open throughout the day and evening. The Club has a heated swimming pool, beauty parlour and sauna.
Breakfast and return to Nairobi. Lunch at the “Carnivore” or “Handi” Restaurant for Vegetarians. Transferred to the airport for your return flight.
